The freeze seen in different media

The freeze was
yesterday and it was a great success.
Some people may have regrets about the way it was (should have we done it
elsewhere else? Should have we avoided to clap after the freeze ?), but
everyone enjoyed it. There was a crowd on Place du Capitole in Toulouse, I
would say at least 1,000 people. The only time I saw as many people there was
during the Rugby World Cup!
I was interviewed by:
- La Dépêche (regional newspaper)
- Le Mouv' (radio)
- Fun Radio
- Pinkanova (video producers)
My australian teacher (Leadership in a Dynamic Global Environment) was interviewed by M6 (TV channel). When asked why he was here, he just answered: " I don't know, I am just here because my students invited me!". He liked it, actually.
I am here going to try to give you different links and videos talking about the freeze :
M6 "Six Minutes" Which is actually not a good report: they say only 300 people were there... I would however very hardly believe that we were less than 700!! It shows the capacity of certain media to be very bad at doing even a small 30-second report!
The article of La Dépêche I met the guy who wrote it, I think he gives here a very good idea of the athmosphere that was yesterday on the Place du Capitole!
freeze toulouse 15 avril 2008 : This is so far one of the best videos... but we're waiting for the official one, which is going to be great !
I like this video because you can see my grand-father taking pictures: the one with the red jacket !
This is actually the most
realistic video, as there isn't any music... just the facts, the great
athmosphere and many people in original positions. I like it very
much.
So guys, while waiting for the official video... don't hesitate to send me more interesting links !!!
I would also be very interested in learning about anecdotes that happened during the Freeze!
I think I am going to write an article in french to talk about the way the freeze happened.
:-)
